1 year...
Firstly, this April marks my blog becoming 1 year old already! i noticed i haven't been blogging at all for a very long time, so i persuaded myself that since its the last day of April, i better blog something or at least wish my blog a happy birthday.
My blog turning 1 also means that i have served NS for one whole year already. 10 more months to go. that being said, a lot of my friends are already counting down till their ORD date which is this November. how sickening to see them all ord earlier than me. but i shall not complain coz i went in a lot later than them also.
well let me sum up the events of the last 2 months. i finished my paramedic lv 2 course and i am now back in my parent camp. its been quite stressful as i'm the only medic in the whole company. i'm responsible for like almost 100 over people. give it a month or so and i'll have an easier time, the platoon medics are coming in late may. its been field camp after field camp and i spent more time in the jungle than at home. guess what, its as if by some divine intervention, my cousin who finished his BMT in march got posted to my camp and into my coy as a rifleman. how coincident is that? his mom cant be more relief to have her nephew as her son's medic.
oh and the other day when i went to tampines mall to get a new phone, i was given a pleasant surprise. yup, in case anyone is wondering, i got myself a nokia 6280. back to my surprise, while i was in starhub in TM, i thought that the sales assistant that attended to my mom and i was quite cute, she kept smiling non stop as if she might get fired if she stop smiling for a second. so out of courtesy, i smiled back. the moment i did that, she asked, "are you de xiang?"
imagine my surprise and shock to think that this cute sales assistant actually knows me. did i do something wrong somewhere in my life that made headlines? anyway after i recovered and composed myself, i realized or rather she told me we were primary school friends, and i finally remembered who she was. she was the girl that was sitting behind me and once i actually scolded her and made her cry coz she was kicking my chair and irritating me. i hope she doesn't remember it though. i don know what i was doing, maybe i was still in shock but i didnt get her contact. yes, i didnt, go ahead shoot me. but i found her on friendster, thats at least a consolation.
ok, thats about all for now, i hope the next time i blog wont be 2 months later.
