In your anger, don not sin...

Many a times we say or do things out of anger which hurt some one close to us. when anger consumes us, we lose control of our ability to rationalise and think straight. in the midst of being angry, we seldom consider the words spilling out of our mouths and in turn hurting people who genuinely cares for us. i'm sure we have all heard of the story of the boy and his wooden fence. (if u haven't then go read it) wats said cannot be taken back and it will leave a scar.. i'm learning to keep my temper in check and not to allow anger to consume me so easily. there is a chinese saying, something like "everything would be fine if we take a step back and just control our anger". never ask some one who really loves you whether he/she ever cares for you.. its a low blow.. heard this from smallville, "a person is never who he is on the last conversation, he is who he is through out the entire relationship".

"In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry and do not give the devil a foothold." Ephesians 4:26-27

"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." Ephesians 4:29
