2 weeks away from civilization...
Cool 2 weeks past already.. seems pretty fast.. Army life is not much fun at all la.. its just routine.. gotta blog 2 weeks of stuff, hope i don't forget anything..
Oliver send me off on my enlistment day, thank goodness he came along.. i dunno how to describe but just get a friend along on your enlistment day. so after my family departed, i joined the rest of the enlistees to collect our "goodie bag". haha.. which means all my uniform, PT attire, army stuffs, etc. worst part of it all, i had to carry my own bag, shoe box, sling bag, a gigantic duffer bag and my field pack all the up to the 4th floor! omg that was the toughest thing i did in army! the most tiring part of army, climbing up 4 storeys to reach my bunk. haha.. ok i'm making army sound simple.. maybe its only the first 2 weeks and the sergeants haven't show us their horns... after settling in, its the moment we've all been waiting for, cutting hair!!! haha.. its not free some more, had to pay $2 for it.. everyone going in looking so different then all coming out looking like each other. haha.. it kinda feels nice, i like my new hair style, very nice to touch like carpet... haha... oh! anyone wanna buy 4D? theres 3 AaronS in my platoon, guess what, all 3 of them ended up in my section!!! crazy one... 3 AaronS in my section alone, what are the chances? i'm in platoon 3 section 4. the AaronS are sleeping in bed 1,7 and 10. if anyone win anything share with me k? haha... So basically after all the admin matters are settled, every other day is the same. Wake up at 0515 sleep at 2230. everything in between is just physical training, lectures and waiting.. now u know why guys who finished NS have a rusty brain.. coz its not even used at all... just follow follow.. ok maybe occasionally have to decide whether u wanna use the squatting instead of waiting for the sitting toilet cubicle. haha...
hmmm.. lets talk about my section.. i feel lucky coz i think my platoon and section is one of the best at working together. especially my section.. the last thing u wan in army is a selfish person. As the days past, we became closer and started to warm up to each other. its interesting to interact with them. we all come from all walks of life and have different upbringing.. theres these 2 guys in my section who are shorter than me, 1 is 1.58m the other is 1.60m. haha they are funny people. the 1.58m guy is call Keith and the other is Aaron. Keith is damn bitchy! he is a super gossiper and really talks behind peoples back! scary... Aaron is really a joker, funny guy.. imagine a small little guy running around doing funny stuffs. his actions and way he talks are amusing. haha.. then there are those quiet individuals who don't joke around or talk to much. i think i am one of them. haha.. but when all of us are sitted together, everyone just warms up. no problem at all. then comes my buddy.. at first see him look guai guai and so innocent but when i got to know him better..... haha... my buddy is the most lustful guy in my bunk! goodness... always talking about girls and stuffs.. everytime some one book out, he would be the first to insists on him buying FHM, maxim of some guys magazine.. he is crazy one loh! quite gross at times also.. he is a person who confirm would die without girls.. haha.. its really interesting to sit down and chat with my section mates. put 13 guys together in the same room and u will know what i mean. this is an inside scoop ok.. secret guys stuff... then there is this person who is your typical MCP! disgusting i tell you.. his ego is bigger than his brains. attitude sux big time.. super proud and a big show off.. and know wat? he carries condoms in his wallet which he proudly shows it to us, he said just in case.... no choice i have to live with it.. no point making relationship sour when u have to work together for the next 2 months. i have come to a conclusion, people from hwa chong are in a class of their own. theres this guy in my bunk from HCJC. he looks the most chi na, swears the most and looks nothing at all smart. but after reading stuff he writes, i conclude that he is super intelligent. hand writing super nice, well verse in mandarin and english. has an amazing general knowledge and knows all sorts of songs from classical to rock, from chinese to english, from oldies to new songs... these are people who are really intelligent.
haha... i wouln't be able to finish describing everyone.. As a whole, we are all just normal 19 year old boys.. haha i realised we all share a common childhood.. we all watch cartoons, play games, all sorts of stuffs la.. i mean can u imagine a bunch of guys singing cartoon songs like power rangers, conan, tele tubbies! etc... its nice when we all just start singing in the bunk and whistling at the same time.. our very own karaoke session.. hmm one day i should video tape down the stuff we do in bunk... that would be cool... haha... look at the time... its already 1710, i gotta get ready to bool in again... most sianz thing in the world.. worst part of it all, i am sick! got a high fever, cough and flu... cough till chest pain.. feeling so weak, don't even know whether i can carry my bag later or not.. wait i faint half way... dinner's ready, so till my next entry.. tata....
