March holidays...

The March holidays are finally here! Some peace and quiet far away from the maddening screams and deafening noise of all the kids. now i must be a lot more tactful in what i write on my blog already, i can't believe some of the teachers (mr ong) *AHEM* actually went to search for blogs and found mine. how unlucky! Cannot write how horrible the kids are already. I am so looking forward to resting and getting to lv 70 this week! I can’t believe I stop wowing for 3 weeks already, this is so horrible. However, in some ways I am very glad I was given a form teacher appointment and thus exposing me to so so so much of the responsibilities of being a teacher like taking care of my form class, motivating them, signing their report slips, meeting their parents and entertaining their calls! Bloody hell this is the hardest $65 I have ever earned. Alright school aside, I watched 2 movies over the weekends,

The first would be “Happily Never After”. I would give it half a star. I went with yao long on Friday to watch it and we both slept through out the entire movie. I deduced something from it, to tell if a movie is good, put 2 guys who just knocked off from teaching kids in a nice comfortable cinema and start the movie, the amount of time they sleep in there is proportional to how bad the movie is. The storyline was very weak, there was hardly any laugh worthy jokes and all in all it was a totally messed up show. This show is supposed to be from the creators of the “shreck” movies but it did no justice to it predecessors.

The second movie which I watched just a few hours ago was “300” (M18). My rating for it would be 2 and a half stars over 5. again, the storyline was pretty weak and rather rushed, not something you’d expect after watching movies like “Gladiator” or “Troy” which were 2 of the best ancient war shows which I have watched. However, the fight scenes were awesome and the slow motion aka bullet speed were well timed making the fights even more enjoyable unlike many massive scale fights where all you see are mass of people clashing and blood spraying. What I like best about the movie are all the witty one liner and Leonaidas (the lead actor) extremely good sense of humour even in the face of death, they left me roaring with laughter. One last thing to add, if you like scantily clad men then this is the show for u, for once the men are showing A LOT more skin then the women.

“Tonight we dine in hell” - Leonaidas
